The hatch is back with the 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback. This is the first time since 2003 that Honda has offered a hatchback version of the Civic, and this sporty car makes it worth the wait.
At first glance, you’ll see that the 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback looks much different than its predecessor. It has a curvy, sporty style with a fast and sleek silhouette. This four-door will stand out among other hatchbacks.
Under the hood, the 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback offers a standard 1.5 liter turbocharged engine that boasts 174 horsepower. The lower of five trim levels come with a standard 6-speed manual transmission that promises a fun and zippy drive. Two of the trims are unique to this hatchback: a Sport trim and a Sport Touring trim, both with center exhaust systems. Honda has estimated a 31 mpg city and 40 mpg highway for its new Civic Hatchback.
Naturally, the 2017 Civic Hatchback gets the best where safety and technology are concerned. The available Honda Sensing safety package features the latest in safety, like adaptive cruise control and forward-collision warning. On the EX models and up, a touch screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are available, so that drivers can get safe and hands-free connectivity on the road.
